You can route your remote desktop software directly through HomiPlay's encrypted tunnel to connect to your home computer via an internal IP. Setup Steps
Install HomiPlay & Remote Desktop Software on the Host
Install both HomiPlay and the remote desktop software on the computer you wish to control remotely at home or the office. Log into your HomiPlay account to activate the virtual network.
Enable Direct Connect in Remote Software
In the remote desktop software settings on the host computer, ensure the option to allow "Direct IP Access" or "LAN connection" is checked, allowing external devices on the virtual network to initiate direct connections.
Prepare the Client Device
Install HomiPlay on your remote device (laptop or tablet) and log in with the same account to join the virtual network. Install and launch the remote desktop software on this device as well.
Connect via the HomiPlay Tunnel
In the client's remote desktop application, enter the host computer's HomiPlay virtual IP or local IP address to connect. All video and control traffic will automatically route through HomiPlay's encrypted P2P tunnel.
